Pros

They have some good technology choices at the company. There is beer in the fridge that they allow you to have but imply you should pay for. They allow remote employees.

Cons

This is a young company that is under 2 years old. . Look up on the internet at when they formed Lynton Web LLC. They imply they have been around much much longer. Job security is zero. over half of their employee/contractors have been laid off, fired or quit since December 2011. They extract inexpensive labor with promises of a permanent position. They use temporary labor and I mean temporary. They promise many things that they do not ever follow through with. They expect long work hours and overload everyone. They are pretending to be a large company but in fact are a small business run by someone who does not have a college education and little business acumen. In summation, there should be a warning buoy for all to see.

I must strongly disagree with everything in your review. There are a lot of serious allegations here, so I will address each one: (1) First, LyntonWeb was established and in business since 1999 operating as a sole proprietorship. Due to growth from 2009 onward, the S-Corp was filed in 2010. The history of our company is well known by everyone on our team. (2) Second, no one would ever imply that food or drink we provide to employees should be paid for. If that were the case we would have a vending machine. (3) There is no inexpensive labor on our team. Yes we hire contractors for short-term or as-needed projects. Some contract-to-hire opportunities are based on individual performance. Your implication that we mislead people into these types of opportunities is false. (4) We do not expect long hours from our team and do what we can to avoid it. We have great hard-working people, some who put in extra hours when needed to meet deadlines, learn new skills, or catch up from being out. They do this because they care about their clients, their team, and meeting a goal. I am personally proud of the work/life balance that our entire team including myself enjoys. (5) We are pretty transparent about who we are, and we are a small business. We happen to have a great reputation and work with clients from all over the world. Growing a digital agency from $300,000 to over $2 million and scaling the team takes someone with a bit of business acumen. Mistakes will be made, but if we behaved as you described we would in no way be where we are today. If this is indeed a true former employee, I'm sorry that you feel there's nothing that can save us. Fortunately we don't need saving. I question the validity of this review, but I hope I've addressed the concerns and allegations for anyone interested in the other side of the story.

Pros

Established culture of growth, actual commitment to work life balance, individualized support based on background and circumstance, open communication all the way up the leadership ladder. Transparency about company performance and intentions. Check-ins about your professional goals and a willingness to try to move you into situations that facilitate your growth and goals.

Cons

For me, none yet, but I could see the time zone differences across the company and with clients cause some strain on others as normal working hours might be unconventional depending on where you live, or shift depending on who you work with.

Pros

Colleagues were skilled, capable, and genuinely supportive.

Cons

- Nonstop overpromising of deliverables with no realistic internal alignment. - External commitments made without regard for actual timelines or resources. - Execution teams forced to carry constant and unreasonable pressure. - Scope was never adjusted, leaving internal teams to meet impossible deadlines. -The disconnect caused needless stress and steadily eroded morale. - Stronger expectation control is essential for long term sustainability.

Thank you for your feedback. First, it is unclear whether you are an actual current or former employee based on the content of your review. Second, anyone involved in client delivery has authority over the scope. The characterization that client teams are under pressure to meet unrealistic scopes or deadlines is simply untrue. Third, the client delivery team is responsible for managing scope, timeline, and expectations. These aren't imposed from on high. After reading this feedback carefully, in detail, and in full, we question its validity in full.
