Pros
Dynamic Working has transformed the work life balance within MBDA, having the freedom to attend not just medical appointments but other important activities has meant that MBDA has become an attractive employer. Being a Gold Award owner on the Employee Recognition Scheme ran as part of the Armed Forces Covenant, means that I get 2 weeks leave to attend Reserve/Army cadet activities, this means that I can continue to enhance my skills and making a huge difference to the younger members of the local community as an Adult Volunteer with the Army Cadets. MBDA also has a number of community groups that are good to be involved in, one of these is the Armed Forces Community, currently the largest community within MBDA. Currently we are looking at how we can improve our Ex-Forces recruitment strategy so that we don't miss out on some of the fantastic talent that is leaving our Armed Forces. Recognition is another key aspect of MBDA life, both internal and external recognition is outstanding within the business. Not just my experience as a recent nominee in the Ex-Forces in Business Awards, but also the range of awards that are picked up by our apprentice community.
