Pros

Benefits are nice. Good overall health care, dental, vision. 401k employer matching contributions, Flex Time.

Cons

Got in the door, gave me a reasonable rate of pay based on my experience and background. They gave me the hourly rate I requested , which was over what the offer was. However, any advancement opportunities or incentives for advancement opportunities, tuition reimbursements, or any kind growth within the company? Forget it. I enjoyed the opportunity but then after multiple inquires to onboarding staff, supervisors, different department and shift supervisors just to never get any call backs, email replies, or answers to any questions at all. I just let it go. Paid for courses myself to get the certification in CNC Programming from MasterCAM University. Learned how to program the machines that constantly break in the laser department, Trumpf TruLasers 4k, 5k, Bystronic/Antil (12k with cassette material tower) both Fiber and Oxygen lasers and became certified in using various types of coding and programming software and invested into myself. It’s a shame, they want those empty positions filled by staffing agencies or sign on bonus incentives, tell you about employee share options, all these great things that they offer, the vision statement and the company core beliefs….those were all morals, goals, principles, and standards that I valued and believed in myself. After a year, trying to become the best version of myself, make an effort to master the craft in being an operator, but one that was certified and could: program, execute maintenance and diagnostics myself to increase productivity & have a higher percentages of production time - for the good of the company as a whole, and for everyone that I worked there with.

Pros

Four Day Work Week, Clean Facility

Cons

Started out as a great place in the beginning, but the place seemed to be making it up as they go. No clear idea of how to setup processes, no clear idea of what each person's job responsibilities were, and the work culture suffered for it. lost track of the number of new plant managers had while was there, I didn't bother knowing their names becausel knew they would be gone in two or three months. You could tell that they prioritized one department and abandoned the others, yet they still would hound you over rates and keeping busy even when other employees did nothing all day. In the end, management is what killed this place, they don't care about anybody on the floor. They fired many vital senior employees midweek with no notice and then threw their workload on the ones remaining, but hey look the place is very clean and shiny. I'm sure the shareholders will love that.
