Pros
Basic pay is good, there is claims for transport and able to work from home.
Cons
This is an event company with a strong focus on cost efficiency. To reduce venue expenses, events are often booked from midnight (12 a.m.) onwards, requiring staff to be on-site at that hour to oversee setup and production. Although remote work is occasionally permitted, employees are generally expected to continue working during regular hours both before and after overnight events, which can make the schedule demanding. In practice, “work from home” often means handling tasks outside of standard office hours. After returning from event sites, staff may still be required to complete follow-up work remotely, resulting in long and irregular working days. The work culture can be challenging at times. Communication expectations are not always clear, and work-related messages may occasionally be sent outside of office hours. Some members of management have displayed unprofessional behaviour, such as reprimanding staff for not responding during off-hours or showing insensitivity toward employees who are unwell. In addition, frequent gossip about personal matters has contributed to an uncomfortable work environment. The office space is compact, with limited workstation areas. Improving workspace comfort, promoting clearer communication boundaries, and cultivating a more respectful and professional culture would greatly enhance the overall employee experience.
