- extremely fun yet hardworking lab culture in the two labs I spent time in - exposure to some of best researchers in their field - real research experience; it was demanding, but in a way that helped me understand what research is really like
Cons
- extremely poor compensation; given minimum wage for skilled positions - occasionally unreasonable expectations from reporting supervisors
