Pros
There are some wonderful, talented and knowledgeable colleagues that work at Monex
Cons
This company yo-yos painfully between a feast and famine approach with colleagues disappearing to cuts on a moment’s notice at regular intervals. Historically, transparency from management is poor during recruitment (but also in general) which leads to the wrong hires or the roles being badly miss-sold, which in turn leads to an astronomical turnover and colleagues who are perpetually creaking under pressure, stressed and ready to point the finger of blame before a problem even arises. There are much more reputable houses that pay better, if you like the old school approach, The problems above are only exacerbated by the attitude that if you’re not working overtime, you are not doing enough. Colleagues are praised for working through the night or while they wait to be seen in A&E and criticised for not answering their phones during annual leave for entirely non-urgent queries.
