Pros

Opportunities to lead and manage a team Fast-paced environment with hands-on responsibilities

Cons

During my time as a manager, I was asked to prioritize hiring based on appearance—specifically favoring young, attractive women over more qualified candidates. Comments from leadership at the area level often reinforced these biases, sometimes through inappropriate or unprofessional language. Fair, structured hiring practices were not consistently followed or supported.

Pros

I love my work place, it’s a positive experience all around. I get along with all my staff, managing is flexible, and my General Manager is one of the best in the business. The company’s philosophy behind their concept is constantly promoting growth and opportunity for those deserving.

Cons

Hours are a bit hard to manage in this line of work regardless of where your place of employment is. It’s a challenge no doubt, but hard work does pay off and going above and beyond your scheduled hours does not go unnoticed.

Pros

Can make great money, sky is the limit. Staff is overall great. Location is busy.

Cons

Management is unqualified and toxic, highly cliquish and lots of favoritism. Acknowledgement is not about skill or ethic, it is about who likes you. Management are all in their 20s with very little to absolutely zero management experience. They knew the right person, were hired or promoted, without any actual experience or overall likeablilty to back it up. They do not respect their staff as actual human beings. People are treated like numbers. Micromanaging and expectations are at an all time high for low wages. Tip out is high and based on total sales. Servers are expected to pre-buss all their tables. Tipping out total sales when few drinks were sold or food runners were not on the clock - Where is the money going? Worst management I have worked for.
