Pros

- A few good colleagues trying to make the best out of a bad situation.

Cons

- Extremely high turnover rate. People leave as soon as they can. - Leadership is inexperienced, dismissive, and unwilling to listen to employees with actual expertise. - Strategy changes drastically and without warning, causing endless rework and wasted time. - Management chases buzzwords like “AI” without understanding them, creating unrealistic promises and failed projects. - Poor communication, low morale, and burnout are the norm.

Pros

1. One of the few companies where your work truly matters, making manufacturing accessible to all through AI and robotics. 2. Unparalleled future outlook, backed by multiple renowned VCs, with major customers that even multinational corporations can only dream of. 3. A merit-based environment with no politics or bureaucracy, offering opportunities to anyone who wants to make a difference. 4. A comfortable workplace (alongside huge robots!) with excellent benefits. Enjoy California weather, a fully stocked kitchen with drinks and snacks, perks and health benefits that are in line with large corporations which are rare in startups. 5. Work with some of the smartest people from diverse backgrounds: engineers, scientists, and technicians across fields like robotics, mechanical, manufacturing, software, materials, and more.

Cons

1. Machina Labs today is not for everyone. As a startup with only a few dozen employees and minimal management layers, individuals who require extensive supervision or lack self-motivation will find it challenging to thrive here. 2. Career progression paths are not clearly defined or well-established at this stage.
