      Low pay for a trading firm Old tech, lots of legacy code Very few benefits HR is very toxic and overbearing High turnover, lots of firings Management is cliquey

      Pros

      Mako works with a very flat leadership structure, very easy to communicate with Head of Global Trading, CEO and CFO are very easy accessible, company has a great bonus structure and gives competitive draws as salaries. very much a no nonsense, do your job and lets have a beer after environment which seems to get the best out of its people.

      Cons

      The company's trading systems are slightly outdated and are up for a complete make-over to stay competitive in the ever changing market of derivatives
