Pros

The company and the people there are the best that I could ever ask to do my internship. I'm not sure about other department located in other levels, but the level where I was seated was occupied with people who are ready to answer us and share their knowledge. The thing here is, if you never ask you never know/get. I got to mingle with different people from different departments and I try to mingle with people from other level as well (because I joined them for zumba session). The people there are very enthusiastic and they were ready to spend some time to have a chit-chat session with me despite juggling with multiple tasks everyday. And I had peers who willingly offered me materials to study (case study) because they saw me looking for something to do, during free time. And they also spent extra time with me to answer my question before going back home. This company made my internship journey meaningful

Cons

Perhaps the salary. For internship, better not to target salary. Go for salary

Pros

Working at MIDF offers a reasonable work-life balance with supportive management that values employee well-being. While the finance industry can sometimes demand extra hours during peak periods or deadlines, MIDF encourages flexible working arrangements and provides a friendly environment that helps staff manage both professional responsibilities and personal life. The company culture emphasizes teamwork and mutual support, making it easier to maintain balance even during busy times.

Cons

While MIDF offers a supportive team culture, there have been challenges with management accountability and decision-making at times. Some employees feel that leadership could be more responsible and transparent in their communication and actions. Additionally, the rewards and recognition system may not fully reflect the effort and contributions of staff, which can impact motivation. MIDF has a relatively flat organizational structure, which can limit opportunities for promotion and upward mobility. This sometimes makes career progression slower and more competitive, especially for employees seeking leadership roles. Clearer pathways for advancement and more frequent career development discussions could help address these challenges.
