Pros
Strong product message and genuinely wonderful colleagues. If you're on leadership's good side, it feels like a nice enough place to be. Hybrid working options.
Cons
In critical moments I've observed senior leadership being shockingly unprofessional, targeting some individuals with very personal, aggressive unkindness - which is truly disappointing behaviour. It’s deeply disheartening to witness that type of insidious and harmful conduct from founders, especially given the product. Directly sharing honest, constructive feedback about this behaviour doesn’t feel safe or lead to positive change, based on what I’ve seen happen to others who spoke up - who were seemingly punished with venomous responses behind closed doors, socially isolated, and pushed out quickly and quietly. The volatile environment of: “we welcome disagreement - as long as we agree with that disagreement.” When these situations come to light, leadership’s repeated ‘surprise and horror’ at negativity, coupled with public affirmations about taking employee feedback seriously, may look good, but continuous patterns of targeted unprofessional behaviour make these statements hollow and completely undermine the individuals raising concerns. True honesty, accountability, and quality management appear consistently lacking.
