Pros
-Great for learning hard sales skills and corporate politics. -Good people on the floor. -Solid onboarding and support. -Inclusive and tolerant social environment. -Ok compensation if meeting targets.
Cons
-No trust - employees are fearful and management is controlling. -The culture and values seem good on paper, but the company policies and management style undermines them and turns them toxic. -People are seen as disposable resources by management. -Hierarchical with a layer of suck-up team managers who are there to control. -Inflexible working conditions. -Only top performers are rewarded and valued. -The targets are unrealistic and miles higher than other companies, but they make it seem normal and pushes you close to burn out. Top performers (me included) are the ones who are willing to do anything to achieve best results for themselves, compromising own wellbeing. -Employees are being used - promotions and extra responsibilities are not compensated and you are still expected to meet the same targets. No meaningful compensation before you are close to top management. -The managers have never worked in other companies and they seem delusional when justifying the policies and work expectations. -Employee turnover is high. Many people come and go. Top performs leave themselves after a while, and under performers are pushed out of the company. Top performers who stay are either pampered by management or unaware about their options in other companies. - Rigid work structure based on control and micro management
