There was a lot of interaction between the brokers, so it was easy to get help if you are first starting out like I was. Huge number of properties also.

There were some good people working at Manhattan Apartments. There were some really good teams and people in management positions. They take you in and actually try to help you learn the business.

There were some terribly unprofessional agents working at MAI who liked to take advantage of new inexperienced agents. Many times agents didn't properly screen clients and that led to many days of showing clients around the city who either weren't qualified for an apartment or weren't actually ready to rent.
