Pros
Clothing allowance, most coworkers who are not management are nice
Cons
MH makes beautiful clothing and prides themselves on transparency when it comes to sustainability but lacks transparency when it comes to their employees. It's a very hard place to learn since upper management is too busy to train or understand your role. I have never worked somewhere where it seemed like our manager did not have a true understanding of our roles. The environment often times feels like there is no support. The lack of HR support is hard especially when real issues come up; they are often brushed off or you are made to feel like whatever you say does not matter. They frequently ask for your feedback but get defensive when you provide it. There is a lot of micro-managing & miscommunication and because of this it can cause a lot of friction. I did not appreciate how I & others were spoken to at times (being yelled at or heavily critiqued without any constructive feedback). It was definitely an anxiety inducing environment & I don't wish this experience on anyone. This is definitely a toxic work environment. In all, there is so much potential but the people in charge don't seem to listen or care as long as their pockets are lined while the people under them struggle with low salaries and heavy workload. High turnover for a reason.
