Pros

I'm trying to be objective but there were not many pros. I have heard good things about some other branches but Eastern Pennsylvania was not one of them.

Cons

- poor onboarding - absolutely not good for college grads with a small network - THEY WILL MAKE YOU CALL ON YOUR "Natural Network" AKA YOUR FAMILY AND FRIENDS **Here is my warning** They promised me a lot, mentorship, going to sales with my mentor, good training, support, but I got none of that. They told me I would be a financial planet, doing mostly stocks and investments, but it is ALL LIFE INSURANCE SALES. Training for the other licenses will take you around 3 months so unless you're comfortable selling life insurance to friends and family or have zero income for 3 months, do not take this job. I left in just a few weeks once they told me my mentor had left a few weeks before I started. I got no new mentor, just sat at a desk with a training website and that was it. I can appreciate a company that wants you to get things done yourself with autonomy, but this was unacceptable.

Pros

Great programs for experience in fortune 100.

Cons

Cared more about building a program to attract interns than future employees.

Pros

• Decent benefits • Some good individual contributors and colleagues.

Cons

• Extremely high workload — regularly expected to work 60-80+ hours per week • Constant scope changes with unrealistic expectations and impossible deadlines • Upper management was disconnected and showed little concern for employee well-being • Highly political environment where internal politics often outweighed actual performance • Mass layoffs that eliminated roughly half the engineering team, followed by offshoring many roles to India — even after many of us had dedicated 4+ years to the company • Extremely stressful and unsustainable culture leading to widespread burnout
