You might meet a few good coworkers. Location is convenient if you live nearby.

Cons

The office culture is unprofessional, classless, and lacking in boundaries. Compensation is not competitive — PTO and 401k match are below industry standards — yet managers dismiss concerns with “you’re paid well.” Work–life balance is not respected. Professional staff are routinely treated as glorified babysitters, expected to handle menial or after-hours tasks instead of the company hiring appropriate support. Calls and texts outside of work hours are common, undermining boundaries. The management style is authoritarian and dismissive. The owner keeps all “big picture” work for himself while delegating only menial tasks, often barking orders with a condescending tone. Managers reduce professional work to “you’re being paid to do XYZ,” stripping away respect and recognition. Most concerning, the company does not value intellect, expertise, or problem-solving skills. Employees’ talents are underutilized, and people are placed in roles that do not match their strengths. Obedience and physical presence are rewarded over ideas, innovation, or true professional contribution. Overall, this is not an environment where skilled professionals can grow or where their contributions are respected.
