Pros

some nice people work there cool office dogs allowed

Cons

Not really an ad agency... It's 3 "bro" owners who are friends that do "event production", and all the other content follows that. In other words, they throw parties at clubs for their friends and then have people take iphone photos of it and call that a 'case study'. They try extremely hard to look cool- and that is the entire point of this company, the end. They cannot retain serious and experienced creative talent due to the atmosphere of unprofessionalism and lack of vision coming from the owners. Poor handling of budget and resources results in rapid expansion and then layoffs, freelancers don't get paid for months. Unfortunately, I can't recommend the place unless you don't mind working until 4am multiple nights a week/weekends for awful salaries- in which case just go work for an ad agency people actually recognize. Depending on what you want to do with your career, it's becoming a bit of a social media agency, so if you are very young and want to get your foot in the door as a social media manager this might work for a year or two helping out with their instagram content- which is 90% of their content. You'll be treated OK if you're a young wannabe social media influencer or one of the owners personal pals. They did the marketing for Fyre Festival, a hilarious parallel given that the company itself is more of a disaster than the festival.

Pros

a lot of cool clients

Cons

there is no diversity in the office. there were probably two black people, five asian people, and 99% of the rest were white people who had holier than thou attitudes. a lot of gossiping and weird energy, micro aggressions and just overall bias towards specific types of people. work culture felt extremely exclusive and uncomfortable and feedback rarely given. the people truly don’t care about you and just want to take advantage of you for the least amount of money possible. there were some nice people but the environment honestly felt really unprofessional and snooty. hated the culture and managers really do not value your growth as a person. feel like there’s favorites around the office especially if you’re in a senior position and have been working there for a long time. if you’re a person of color don’t work here. they also have so many freelancers constantly working for them it’s impossible to get a full time position
