Worst Management Ever! - Anonymous employee Maurices Employee Review

To start with...the communication at Maurices is some of the worst ever. There is no communication between District Manager to employees (unless you are the Store Manager), the Store Managers word is always right, according to the District Manager and Home Office (no matter what they say), there is never fair treatment to employees, concerns/issues with management are brushed underneath the mat. And if you every do question your management, you will be the first on their list to get rid of "by whatever means necessary" (quote of previous Store Manager). Maurices would rather move someone accross the country to run their store instead of internal promotion...and the people that are promoted get there because they know what to say not by the work they do. This company is run by tons of people that can talk the talk but never walk the walk. You can do everything for this company but if one single person in management doesnt want you to succeed they wont and theyll make sure of that. Good Luck getting a promotion!
