Cons

**Employee Review: Constructive Feedback and Concerns** While I appreciate the opportunities I’ve had during my time at Maverick, I feel it’s important to share some concerns about my experience, as they may reflect broader issues within the workplace culture and management practices. 1. **Confidentiality and Privacy Concerns**: I was deeply disappointed to learn that HR disclosed personal information about my autism spectrum diagnosis to others without my consent. This breach of confidentiality not only violated my trust but also led to noticeable changes in how I was treated by my direct manager and her supervisor. Following this disclosure, I began to experience social distancing and exclusion from vital meetings, which impacted my ability to contribute effectively. 2. **Lack of Training and Support**: The company’s approach to employee training has been inadequate. Instead of providing structured training or resources, I was often directed to watch YouTube videos. This lack of formal support made it difficult to develop the skills necessary to meet expectations, particularly when projects were delayed due to factors beyond my control. 3. **Unfair Performance Evaluations**: I was written up for projects that were slow, despite the fact that my specific skills and contributions were overlooked or underutilized. Additionally, I have concerns about the accuracy of activity metrics reported for my company laptop, as they do not reflect the actual time and effort I dedicated to my work (only this past week were there apparently any issues). 4. **Isolation and Lack of Support**: Rather than addressing challenges or providing constructive feedback, I was increasingly isolated and unsupported. It became clear that the company’s approach was to distance me until I either quit or was given menial tasks that could be used as grounds for termination. This lack of support created a hostile and demoralizing work environment. 5. **Management Concerns**: If "A.C." is your manager, be prepared for inconsistent treatment. My experience included being lied to, ignored, talked down to, and subjected to a dismissive "girl boss" attitude once my diagnosis became known. This behavior created a toxic dynamic that made it difficult to perform effectively or feel valued as an employee.
