Pros

Nice employees. Friendly staffs. Good 401K.

Cons

1. cubible too small. 2. they whine for taking bathroom breaks too long. Might as well build a bathroom next to cubible. 3. managements, QA, supervisors doesnt back you up when you were verbally harrassed by consumers. 4. I had stayed late couple of times because of a call. Company doesnt pay you or let you leave early. I will report you very soon! 5. They keep expanding and growing. No salary raise. One salary doing 3 different department's work. 6. Stupid work: calling consumers and see how much they like the new plan. 7. they want to hire college students and pay them 12.95$ per hour. I dont think so cheapskate. 8. Supervisors avoid you when you ask for assistance. 9. When we have a party, customer service reps and supervisors chipped in for food, drinks, dessert. QA staffs and IT staffs get to eat our food first while we are working on the calls. They chipped in nothing. They get paid more!

Cons

Not too many - a few misunderstanding s about training classes and roles but overall, not bad.

Pros

Had a few really exceptional coworkers

Cons

One reason I was hired was to bring in new ideas and work approaches; however, when I tried implementing anything new, some of the “old school higher-ups” would balk and were never open to anything new or better. My management just looked the other way and didn’t support me. As for training, I wasn’t offered much in the way of onboarding other than being told to read a lengthy “standard operating procedures” document. No real opportunities were offered to shadow anyone so I could learn in real-time. A typical work week was 60+ hours and often stretched to 70+. It was exhausting and demoralizing. The job was not sustainable and I’ve never been more relieved to be done with a place. I cannot recommend Maximus as a place to grow your skills or to give your time. Turnover seems to be relatively high at Maximus and there are far better places to work.
