Pros

You can train and work from that part was pretty cool!

Cons

The pay is too low considering the amount of work and abuse you take from the clients! Very stressful!!!!! Constant QA & QC, the team designated to help you has a God complex. They forget they were new once too and can be very disrespectful when they try to “help you”. I was inured while working here and all I can say is good luck trying to get worker’s compensation. Oh and I was fired from here because I was out due to rehabilitating and recovering from my injuries and they told the unemployment office that I quit when I have a recording of the HR admitting that I was fired.

Remote, adequate training and guidance and usually everything /software works - minus regular hiccups.

Cons

Not too many - a few misunderstanding s about training classes and roles but overall, not bad.

Pros

Had a few really exceptional coworkers

Cons

One reason I was hired was to bring in new ideas and work approaches; however, when I tried implementing anything new, some of the “old school higher-ups” would balk and were never open to anything new or better. My management just looked the other way and didn’t support me. As for training, I wasn’t offered much in the way of onboarding other than being told to read a lengthy “standard operating procedures” document. No real opportunities were offered to shadow anyone so I could learn in real-time. A typical work week was 60+ hours and often stretched to 70+. It was exhausting and demoralizing. The job was not sustainable and I’ve never been more relieved to be done with a place. I cannot recommend Maximus as a place to grow your skills or to give your time. Turnover seems to be relatively high at Maximus and there are far better places to work.
