Pros
Benefits packages are great due to to their typical affiliations with unions. There are ample opportunities for networking once you get on the inside of the doors of the establishments that Maxwell Kates works with/for. If you're looking to work consistently and have reliable hours, it can be pretty good.
Cons
Very difficult to feel supported or protected to a certain extend due to the union affiliations. There are so many concerns and hazards that I encountered when working for one of my locations , however there is a strong demonstration that the environment isn't quite a meritocracy. The resident's of these can help to paint a picture on what employees they benefit from and what employees they don't. Sometimes payroll can be a pain when dealing with them middle men. Pay can be shoddy for long than is practical in particularly expensive cities.
