Slow months are terrible on your stress levels. You'll be constantly hounded about low gross profit and to make it worse the minimum for commission is the minimum metric. So being a service tech like myself you get hit with repair issues and trying to make sales on top of that. They use a one size fits all commission platform which for my area is terrible. I live in a small town where we are overstaffed and nothing will be done about it so we continue to do poorly. They expect you to basically beg or you're not trying hard enough for a sale . I wish they would change the way commission is done to be more fair. I've never worked at a job where commission is a requirement and it is very off putting. So tread carefully into this job as you'll be expected to leave your morals at the door and do whatever it takes to make a sale even if it means being dishonest.
