Pros

Flexible hours allows you to make the most of holidays allowance Travel insurance and Health insurance

Cons

- Small company, no career opportunities - Favoritism: friends of direction will are allowed to do whatever they want (as in poor performance at work, go on holidays when they are scheduled to work etc) without consequence. Workers not friends of direction board will be fired for no apparent reason. - Hard to accomplish many tasks at work since the company doesn't pay its providers and therefore many are not keen to work with Mayday anymore. - Company has the audacity to tell you that despite constant growth, they are reducing the Christmas bonus from up to 1 extra month's salary down to 500ukl and then a week before Christmas...withdraw the bonus last minute for no reason. - Lack of IT department: there is only one IT staff who is never in the office. On top, rather than doing his job he will be sending you a youtube tutorial on how fix a computer. - Lack of HR department: there is no Human resources department and again, due to favoritism, many incidents are not looked into depending who is the alleged perpetrator and his level of friendship with company management. - "Friendly" environment: to give an example, if the company organizes a night out and you rather not go, chances of you being fired in the following months will increase. -Company will never listen to staff ideas/needs...for example, staff once was asked if they rather keep 8 hours shifts (which was the old shift pattern) ot change to 10 hours. Vote happened twice in favor of keeping 8 hours shift. Company changed to 10h shift regardless.

Pros

My inmediate manager was great. The colleagues also.

Cons

The leadership demonstrated a complete lack of transparency and ethics. They were aware of the upcoming insolvency months in advance but kept it hidden from the staff. To make matters worse, they pressured loyal employees to move to part-time roles under the guise of "helping the company survive," promising job security that they knew they couldn't provide. After months of employees making financial sacrifices to support the business, the owners fired the entire staff on Christmas Eve and declared insolvency, leaving many of us unpaid and leaving providers in the lurch.
