Pros
McKesson has a progressive business plan, stable, diversified and exhibits solid business competence. There is a segment of the employee population that has opportunity for career advancement. Size and complexity of McKesson make it a good place to gain experience and knowledge. Great place to work at the top of the chain.
Cons
As with most companies, profit is king over anything. Compensation can be marginal and pay for performance is incremental at best. Advancement reserved for employees willing to sacrifice work-life balance and that do not go against the flow. Diversity and inclusion is location specific and a formality to avoid lawsuits. Average level of bureaucracy but it's increasing. Not ideal workplace for bottom of chain. Cut throat business mentality.
