Pros

They are very supportive and training is good. Most of the residents you care for. I would go back to work if my health allowed it

Cons

The seniors can be a bit above themselves and the shifts are long and the days can be stressful if short staffed

Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear that you found our training and support helpful, and it means a lot to us that you’d consider returning if circumstances allowed. We understand that the demands of care work, especially when short-staffed, can be challenging, and we’re always looking for ways to improve our team’s experience. Your insights are appreciated, and we wish you the very best in health and beyond.

Pros

I recently joined Meallmore as a Care Home Manager, and from day one, I've been truly impressed by how supportive and welcoming everyone has been. The culture here is one of genuine teamwork and respect - people across all levels of the organisation have taken time out of their busy schedules to share their knowledge and help me settle in. The induction process has been well structured, with meaningful introductions and learning opportunities that make you feel valued and set up for success. It's clear that Meallmore invests in it's people and wants everyone to thrive and strive. I already feel part of the company that lives it's values, puts people first and is passionate about delivering the highest standards of care. I'm really looking forward to continuing to learn and grow here.

Cons

None so far, everything has been very positive.
