Pros
you have a personal desk, nice employee lounge,
Cons
this job has the most insane attendance policy ever. they expect you to NEVER have to call out and when you do, you get penalized no matter the reason (yes, they will penalize you whether youre at the doctor or even if you're at a funeral). Youre forced to sit at a desk for 8 hours doing the same thing over and over and over again. During training, you'll think this is such an easy-going job. Once training ends, you see how horrible this job actually is, which is why the turnover rate is SO high. Out of my training class, only 3/7 of us are left. Parking is terrible, people have to park almost a mile away from the job. You are only permitted a 30 minute lunch which unless you bring food to work, you have absolutely no time to go get food, return to work, and eat. You'll end up eating at your desk while working. You are also permitted 2 ten minute breaks, which probably gives you enough time to use the bathroom. The leaders will basically stalk you and if you're away from your desk for 5 minutes, they will harass you. Cross your fingers that you won't end up sitting next to a loud speaker, they make this job even more frustrating. Hopefully you won't get seated near our Spanish speaking team, they are so loud and have full blown conversations over their cubicles like this job doesn't require you to be on the phone all day. The hours are brutal, you are literally here all day, and with the unreasonable attendance policy, don't even think about being able to take care of any personal business. The worst part about it is you have the ability to work from home. Unfortunately they NEVER allow you to do this. The only time I was able to work from home was during a really bad snow storm. Your car can be on fire and they still will only give you the option to find a way to work or penalize you for calling out BECAUSE YOUR CAR WAS ON FIRE! I am not exaggerating, stay as far away from this place as possible. It is not mentally stimulating in the least and you'll be 100% miserable. This is coming from one of the companies top workers.
