Personally I like MedVet the institution. Emergency care is a calling and I do believe that MedVet provides great care for their patients.
Cons
Work/Life balance is challenged. High burn out is expected, but it seems higher at my location. This is compounded by a seeming indifference by corporate to address local management issues.

I'm not sure where you are located, but it sounds like there are some challenges in your hospital. If you are seeing behaviors from leaders that are not aligned with who we are, please reach out your HR partner or to me. We know things aren't perfect, and want to continue to get better.
The staff at the Commerce MedVet have been very supportive and helpful with teaching me the skills I was previously lacking. I got my first feline jugular blood draw and I was also given great tips about IV catheter placement.
Cons
I have no cons, the staff are very welcoming and if you want to learn they want to teach.
