Pros

Given lots of opportunities to advance, learning new things, being a part of a team & love working with the people in my department & other departments.

Cons

Hours can be long due to our demand which is unpredictable . Kind of work can be stressful because of demands of work, meeting expectations for what we do and owners of very sick pets.

The staff at the Commerce MedVet have been very supportive and helpful with teaching me the skills I was previously lacking. I got my first feline jugular blood draw and I was also given great tips about IV catheter placement.

Cons

I have no cons, the staff are very welcoming and if you want to learn they want to teach.

Everyone is super friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Ability to give the best care to all animals walking through the doors. Feeling like I am making a difference in Veterinary Medicine. Never a dull moment.

Cons

Can be overwhelming If you do not like fast paced environments, it may not be the best job for you.
