Pros
* Medallia is a technology company that has experienced solid growth for 15 years, and is used by many of the world's top businesses to make their customers happier * Medallia consistently has one of the best sales teams I've ever had the pleasure to work with. * The physical space that the main Medallia offices are in is lovely.
Cons
* Unlike many Silicon Valley companies, there is free lunch only some of the time * Hierarchical structure - your future at the company is entirely dependent on your manager. If you don't like and trust your manager, you have no future at the company. * "work-life balance" - in general, people are able to work a regular 9-5 shift if they want to, and different (possibly longer) hours if they want to. There's slight pressure to work more, but not particularly strong. HOWEVER, there's a strong sense throughout the company that your life at work and your life outside work are one and the same. You're expected to talk about your outside hobbies at company meetings, and expected to promote the company to your friends outside of work.
