Pros
Location, staff, autonomy, salary. In regards to salary, I’m finally making the starting salary of an ad manager with a bachelors degree. I enjoy being able to do my job according to what works best for me. I love having the freedom to run my own campaigns and a/b test. I’ve done a lot of marketing within Texas, and this is probably the best job I’ve received with 100% relation to my skill set and experience. It’s a marketing job with NO hidden sales aspects. We’re able to educate ourselves consistently and stay up to date on all current marketing trends. I enjoy the work office environment where I can listen to music, snack, and do my work around a positive group of people.
Cons
Dealing with clients. If you’re not a people person you’ll finding conversing with clients to be challenging, but if you tell management that you are shy I’m sure they will accommodate for you.
