If you're able to get on the good side of management you'll end up making money even if you have no idea what you're doing. Since the majority of your co-workers are looking for jobs other places, you'll have pretty good knowledge of what positions in Tampa come open for you to apply for.
Cons
Almost everyone here fears for their job. No one knows when they're going to decide to lay people off again. We have too many people here who truly do not know what they're doing. Worst of all when it becomes blatant that these people don't know what they are doing, they wont be punished. Other people will lose their jobs. Mediagistic talks about being a happy, good work place, yet management has done nothing but show that you can't believe a word that they tell you. Management is as transparent as a black cup filled with used motor oil. One moment the company has a bright future and things are looking great. The next they're laying off a ton of people, cutting back on resources, and expecting those left there after the genocide to make up for the lack of employees. While you're expected to do more work, don't expect them to give you a raise of any sort or even any bonuses. Imagine working for a company that buys a building, pays for the set up of a huge salt water fish tank, a special Starbucks coffee machine, and has it's VPs driving around in company cars as if they're their own; yet while they're spending all of this money on these things they turn around and tell us the company is not "profitable" and there's a need to lay off more than 5 employees. Welcome to Mediagistic. There is no opportunity to move up in this company if you're not already up there with the higher ups. There is no opportunity to learn or be creative here. If you try to, prepare to get the cold shoulder. There is no unity. It's every man for themselves because everyone is worried about their job security or lack of. The light at the end of the tunnel is a freight train heading straight towards you.
