Medidata moves at an incredibly fast pace, and with the ever changing nature of our business & industry, it is not likely that we will slow down anytime soon! We understand that the rate at which our Company is changing may be faster than the rate at which we can communicate all changes with our teams. This is something we are actively working on, as visibility into all aspects of the business is vital in fostering an innovative & collaborative environment, which will always be Medidata’s objective.
Keeping with the common theme of fast paced growth, some employees may get caught up in the day to day grind that they forget the most important thing for themselves, work/life balance! We hold our employees to a high talent bar, but we also know that having a life outside of the office will ultimately foster better & happier employees. We strive to allow flexibility in the workweek, as personal and family well being always come first. We expect you to get your work done, but give you the flexibility to decide the best hours for you. How are we working to encourage work/life balance? Some of our new U.S. benefits in 2014 include unlimited paid time off, gym and tuition reimbursement & monthly office events (such as trivia & poker nights!)
We are also working diligently on enhancing the skills of our managers at all levels in the company. Some will continue to come in the form of training but most is direct coaching and feedback from the next level management and their business partner.
