Pros
I wish I could say that the free product was a pro but honestly I can buy my own deodorant without going through emotional, professional trauma. There were a few good coworkers but other than that, not worth it.
Cons
They severely underpay their staff. The co-founder (Katie Sturino) is a delusional egomaniac with no awareness of how her lifestyle choices affect her staff. They didn't even have health care and make all of their full time employees contractors with no benefits. Meanwhile, Katie Sturino has 3 houses and flaunts her luxurious lifestyle online. It's obvious that the founders (who are all white and run a staff of all white people) are just after making $$$$ off of the backs of their underpaid staff. They cut corners wherever they can just to make a quick buck. Expect to work in a toxic, hostile culture. There is a reason long time people have left. If you decide to leave Megababe, managers will pressure you into staying and will guilt you about your decision. Honestly working here was an emotional rollercoaster and was pretty professionaly and personally traumatizing.
