Pros

You get free products every month.

Cons

Many of the positive reviews you see are written by Marketing Executives, i.e. independent sales reps who work from home, not at the company headquarters. Don't be fooled by these. They don't have to deal with the same crap as actual employees. Management at global headquarters is terrible. They don't communicate with people further down the chain, make strange and unreasonable demands, crack racist jokes in meetings, and have created a hostile work environment for anybody who doesn't suck up to them. Don't expect any help from HR because they will always side with management if there's a problem. The CEO also owns the local radio station, so be prepared to hear his voice endorsing political candidates while you drive to work in the middle of a field that smells like manure. Don't be surprised to see political candidates blocking the only way out when you get off in the evening because the CEO thought you needed another reminder to vote for his favorite candidate. And try not to think about irony when the company sells "environmentally friendlier" cleaning products while you eat lunch off of styrofoam plates and are encouraged to vote for climate change deniers.

Pros

Great to work for, the people are kind and willing to help you with any problem you run into.

Cons

They're stingy with promotions and probably won't utilize you to your fullest capacity

Pros

- side benefits are okay - it is a median sort of job - I personally have some freedom do to personal professional development on the clock when there is no immediate need for my work (happens very little) - People half listen once they know you have been at Melaleuca after about 5 years

Cons

- No management that knows what they are doing - Not very customer-focused - Don't seek to fulfill their strategic imperatives or strategies or mission - Very hard for people to listen to you because you're new - They don't have a lot of integrity - Very slow to solve problems - Don't worry about making improvements in processes or tools we use - Slow AI usage and no proficiency in AI usage, strategies or implementation - Managers micromanage because Melaleuca is "unique" - Most of the positive things they tout all the time serves only the company's image, not the employees - Don't worry about giving raises in a timely manner - Not goal-oriented employer And I could probably keep going, but will stop here.
