Pros
There are a number of pro's to working at Meltwater. One of the biggest has to be the company culture. Meltwater is unique in its culture and one of the major reasons for this is the fact that Meltwater only promotes from within which also gives employees an immense amount of control over their own success and growth. It allows for understanding and easy communication between different tiers of management too. Meltwater is a company focused on people not on results and the tireless efforts by management prove this day in day out. They provide ongoing training and offer new opportunities on a regular basis to keep every step of the employees career path fun and rewarding. Another pro that must be mentioned is the international opportunities offered by Meltwater as our company is rapidly expanding into every corner of the globe. In 5 short years at Meltwater I have had the chance to experience working in two different countries and have visited multiple offices throughout the world including locations in Argentina, Ireland, USA and Canada.
Cons
It is truly hard to say what the cons of working at Meltwater are. That said, it is not to be mistaken that Meltwater demands hard work and this is not a company where you can hope to be successful just doing the bare minimum. Most of the people you will meet at Meltwater are competitive people who have a lot of ambition to succeed in the business place and work their way up the ladder. Everyone is supportive of one another in doing so though.
