Business outlook
Pros
Menards is a great place to work in two cases, part time in college or right out of college. I fall into the latter category. I've gotten more experience right out of school than most of my peers will see for 2 to 3 years in their entry level position.
Cons
The compensation and benefits package offers no stability. For example, in the Chicagoland area full time employees max out at the top of the payscale at 12.80 per hour. Most people make their money off of profit sharing, which isn't guaranteed, and doesn't pay off until 5 to 8 years into their careers.
