Pros
You get every other weekend off and are paid hourly instead of salaried. Also the day before you have a day off you usually get off really early like at 1 PM or earlier.
Cons
Hard to move up unless you are willing to relocate. When I say relocate it's usually not where you want to go but where they need you.
