      C-suite rarely understands or appreciates what we do here. CEO is nearly absent. Changes are made without clear communication. Product team is a joke: no amount of customer feedback makes it way to product features. Management in California has an "us" vs. "them" mindset

      Great direct management, team culture, growth opportunities. great worklife balance. The people are what makes this work so enjoyable.

      Cons

      The larger japanese company is the boss after all. US team switches up working structure & company priorities & strategies very frequently based on direction from japan team.

      Great benefits, and a majority of coworkers from various departments are fantastic and creative.

      Multiple directors have major egos and very little respect for those under them in the org.
