Pros

Company uses kazoo for rewards. Coworkers mostly nice. Company offered headspace membership. Covid benefits including: generous work from home hours, 120 hours additional paid leave, vaccine assistance, weekly covid tests.

Cons

There is so much to say… First, when you are acquired they tell you that everyone keeps their job. That is only true until you switch over to their software and then they fire everyone and they keep the cheapest labor to keep your unit afloat. I got to see several of my most competent employees terminated without warning right after the switch. They do not train you, and if you dare to ask questions they make you feel stupid. Some departments get a week of training but most departments are just left to be trained at managements discretion. Spoiler alert: these managers work intense hours and they do not have the time for you. You won’t be trained and they will be upset if you ask them to train you. The work hours are intense. You are so scared after they fired half of your people so you just work 50-60-70 hour weeks hoping it will get better. It doesn’t it. This is the expectation. They will fire your boss and then hand you his job without any increase in title or pay. They expect you to work like a dog with no recognition or compensation. Additionally, this 40+ hour a week schedule will earn you “meets expectations” and the CPI adjustment raise that everyone gets. I wish I could say it was just me, but truly stellar employees in all departments received that same treatment so I know it is standard practice. This leads me to believe that they are super terrible about promotions and raises. This is a decent company to get 2-3 years of experience right out of college or a few years after leaving college in order to gain experience before leaving for a company that actually has opportunities for advancement and treats their employees like human beings. I don’t know how anyone with a family, young children, aging parents, health concerns, or a desire for work-life balance etc… could consider working here without going insane. This is a single person, older person, does not have a family or desire a family person job. A lot of reviews mention that if you are a hard worker then working here is fine and only lazy people won’t like it. Since when is working a 40 hour work week lazy? Since when is it crazy to ask your employer to invest in you? Don’t be gaslit into thinking this is okay or normal. It isn’t, and it shouldn’t be. There are a lot more cons to working here than pros. If you were recently acquired I’d go ahead and look for another job. If you don’t get fired in the next year, you will wish you had been.
