Pros
High energy environment with some genuinely talented and kind people who care about the product and their colleagues. Pay is reasonable.
Cons
Culture of blame is very strong - sales blames marketing constantly, even though they struggle to answer basic questions like "why is our product the best?" (because it's genuinely not competitive and has major gaps). The entire remote marketing team (7 people) was laid off, only for a new on-site marketing manager to be hired less than 1.5 months later - I feel for whoever takes that role. With the most recent layoffs, some people were at the company for less than a month, others less than three months. It shows a complete lack of planning - hiring people just to replace them shortly after with new hires is beyond belief. There was a mandatory meeting every Friday at 4-4:30pm, seemingly just to keep people "working" longer - complete waste of time. Leadership is unstable - repeated layoffs, nepotism, and huge inconsistencies in who gets access to tools, decision-making, and responsibilities. The CEO lacks clear vision and leadership skills, creating an environment of constant uncertainty and low morale.
