Pros

-free food at certain food locations on campus (main cafeteria, plus three school branded restaurants) -50% off certain food locations on campus (name brand places such as tropical smoothie, chik-fil-a, wingstop, etc) -on campus location so easy to head to class immediately after work

Cons

-The work schedule was based on university schedule, so when the university was on breaks (weekends, summer, winter, spring), you were off. So you would have to budget for not getting paid during those times, or find seasonal positions to keep bills paid. -They never give any promotions. I worked for three years and once (this was my second year there) there was an internal position open for three team leads. After selection and an interview, in literal DAYS before starting back up for the semester, the head management on campus cancelled the PAY RAISE for the positions. His reasoning was that "we didn't deserve it". We bring in thousands of dollars a day on a small campus, so he cancelled promotions because "we didn't deserve it". He wanted normal workers to become team leads and take extra responsibilities, yet for the same pay. After snooping around, turns out he just didn't want to pay the extra DOLLAR per hour for team leads. There never was another opening to make more money. -only received one 17 cent raise in the three years I worked. Some coworkers who worked as long as I have didn't receive any.
