Pros

Supervisors and equal coworkers are great.

Cons

The general manager at this specific location treats workers poorly and unfairly. Almost nobody ever got to take a break, whenever this general manager comes around to work somewhere the workers are practically running away from their jobs. Pushes policies that unfairly effect the students at the college he is supposed to be feeding, so much so that food insecurity on campus has likely never been worse. He didn't even bother to learn the workers' names. Hired a bunch of managers to do his job, steals regularly from retail locations while that is not something outlined in his job description or contract, he bullied a fellow coworker for an hour straight in front of customers until she cried, after he got done lingering around the store for an entire 3 hour dinner rush doing nothing to help us and glaring and nitpicking and intimidating workers until nobody felt safe.

Pros

Strong focus on client relationships and customer service. Opportunities to gain experience in healthcare food service operations, labor management, and regulatory compliance. Supportive coworkers and frontline teams who are committed to serving patients. The company provides exposure to a variety of healthcare environments and operational challenges.

Cons

Frequent organizational changes and evolving priorities can create challenges with communication and consistency. Resources and staffing levels may vary by account, requiring managers to be adaptable and flexible. Decision-making processes can sometimes feel disconnected from day-to-day operational realities.
