Pros

Your on campus so it's nice creating a relationship with the students and teachers.

Cons

Management was HORRIBLE. David Solomon is, hands down, one of the worst Management leaders I've ever been under. Sadly the human resources team is of no help. Even more abhorrent, they play childish games that affect your money. Benefits are poor. Ability to move upward within a company again very poor. The pay is minimal.

Pros

The only pro is that upper management is so inept they are rarely seen at the account level including District Managers.

Cons

Working for Metz Culinary was the worst experience I have ever had with a job. Leadership talks a lot about culture, growth, and support- but in practice those things are either inconsistent or completely absent. Management is disorganized and reactive rather than proactive. Communication is poor, expectations change constantly and employees are often left guessing instead of being properly guided. Decisions are made without input from those actually doing the work and are therefore often misguided and poor. Hard work often goes unnoticed while favoritism plays a large roll in who gets recognition or opportunities. Turnover is high and it is easy to see why. Morale suffers when employees feel undervalued and unsupported. Instead, of addressing root issues, leadership tends to gloss over issues or shift the blame onto site level managers for their ineffective support as a company.
