Promising product life cut short - Senior Operations Manager Micharity Employee Review

While it lasted: great team, great clients, great product

CEO Stole all the company money and fled the country leaving the entire company unemployed overnight

Fun working environment with motivated co-workers. Everyone comes from different walks of life who contribute what they know best. Collaboration is heavily emphasized and I've never seen anyone shut down. The CEO has always been willing to hear out suggestions and concerns from his peers and really shows he wants to maintain a positive morale across the office. The service itself has demonstrated it's effectiveness in improving non-profits/charities throughout Canada. It's flexibility to accommodate the various fundraising processes each organization operates to helps tremendously and disregards the "one size fits all" idea. I'm not sure what the first reviewer went through last year although I've never had the impression that the CEO was a liar or racist and I'm four months in. The clients have been a pleasure to speak with and my coworkers make everyday worth it.

Typical start-up obstacles. Not enough time in the day, you're gonna have to depend on yourself at times and unprecedented fires to put out. No parking... boooo. Otherwise, nothing has made me consider leaving MiCharity.
