Hands on training was minimal for my position. Work-life balance was poor, with the expectation to work 6 days a week during the time leading to the grand opening of the store. Overall, this role was not what I expected with workload expectations for this position.
Despite consistently working extra hours and contributing significant effort, recognition from Senior Management felt limited.
My position did not qualify for Performance Incentives as multiple other positions did within the company. This was disappointing, especially given the additional hours, stress, and responsibilities during the store's Grand Opening process. With the position not being eligible for performance incentives, it could create challenges when motivating team members who had the opportunity for performance-based incentives themselves.
