Pros
Management strives to offer a fair salary, product training is solid.
Cons
Micro management is rampant, it's very difficult when decisions are constantly overridden. Benefits are on the lower end (no 401k, one week vacation after one year, one week after two years), comp time is unheard of. Management appears to manage "on the fly," they put a procedure in place one week, it's gone the second week. One major problem out of MSE's control is their customers. A large percentage come off as beggars, always pleading for a lower price. MSE is not a slimy company, but the toner remanufacturing industry is, due to a lot of resellers who can't see beyond anything other than lowest prices. MSE manufactures a good product, but it's not as above the industry standard as it once was due to improvements most other remanufacturers has made. This puts MSE at a disadvantage, because they ask for higher prices based on their "remanufactured engineering," yet their defects are close to other manufacturers.
