Pros

Pretty flexible with work hours and accommodates well if you need to leave or work from home. Management is keen on constructive feedback and improving the business and lives of the employees, and all of them are good people. Working here gives the sense of contributing toward a common goal instead of feeling like a slave. Professional atmosphere, yet dog-friendly 🦮. Competitive Salary, and easy-to-access location in the Byward Market.

Cons

The building itself is the biggest downside. It's not very recycling-friendly and bathrooms are tiny and not well maintained.

Pros

I worked full time at MMs for 2 years and grew my knowledge of software, SaaS, and sales immensely. It was a major stepping stone in my career and I was still learning constantly when I reluctantly left for an opportunity abroad. It's a small company with a tight-knit management team who have a lot of competing priorities, so you sometimes have to fight for their time, but when push came to shove they were always ready to focus and help any employee that asks. The product is great and provides a major wow factor to the customers, which for me is a major plus. I would never want to sell a product that wasn't impressive and delivering ROI. The development team are super easy to engage with and they constantly innovate the product. It's a great place to work.

Cons

It's a small team and you have to be a self-starter to make the most of your opportunities there, but if you are up for that then you have a lot of leeway to create your own role and try to achieve something meaningful.

Pros

MicroMetrics has transparent leadership who are receptive to the needs of employees. They understand and invoke a strong balance between business needs and employee satisfaction. While still a smaller, growing company, the team has continued to adapt to challenges and overcome them proving their resilience (Many clients are hospitality-related during COVID-19, and they still came through). They understand the new way of handling a workplace where you feel less like a number and more like someone contributing and making an impact on their success. The work culture is welcoming & friendly, and it was common to go out for drinks on Fridays. The benefits package is excellent as well!

Cons

No real cons at the time of departure.
