Pros
Okay starter job for those needing experience in a corporate environment.
Cons
Feels like a sinking ship and there is no understanding of the day-to-day needs to get product out the door. Massive process changes are often instituted with zero input from those who do the job, often conveying a fundamental misunderstanding of operations needs and sometimes causing incidents due to avoidable oversights. Those who vocalize concerns or suggest ways to improve are treated as “problems” by executives. There is a genuine lack of care and an antagonistic attitude towards customers and those who advocate for them. Corporate bullying, gossip, and interpersonal drama is a huge problem at this organization. HR is the opposite of an employee resource, don’t bring anything to them unless you want it shared with the whole company and gossiped about in the break room. Good performance is rewarded with more work, overtime is culturally expected, and raises are barely on the table. There are no opportunities for upward advancement and smart employees avoid additional responsibilities as they won’t be compensated. There are serious deficiencies in the systems and tools in use, and it has been made clear that teams and customers are expected to work around broken tech and inefficiencies daily rather than receive support to improve their working conditions or customer experience.
