Pros

Probably the colleagues. Other than that, I don’t think there’s anything else.

Cons

1. Will offer 2.8k salary, but will deduct your money with no explanation. 2. Didn’t contribute EPF under probation, but once you’re confirmed make sure to check your EPF contributions because they might be less/didn’t contribute at all. 3. HR is basically useless, so make sure you secretly record your conversations with HR, and go through your contracts. 4. Upper high management is very manipulative. They will never side with you, even though the client is wrong. Because to them, client is money. 5. No OT. They will offer you RM100 but the workload can be quite a lot. 6. No medical leave under probation, it will count as unpaid leave. But you’re expected to give them MC slip and spend your money. 7. No career growth and guidance. What you learned on your first month will is all that you will ever learn until your last month. 8. They will bother you with their side business and expect you to contribute to their side business as well. 9. Will still bother you on leave, and not respect you. 10. Very bad communication between staff and higher management. 11. Higher management will micromanage your every move, even the emails you send to client. 12. If the result of marketing is not performing well, you will be expected to lie about it to the client, and you will be the one to blame for it. 13. If you’re on leave, double check your work emails and laptop if there’s anything wrong. They will log into your laptop and write email for you and act like you while you’re on leave. Or even download/upload something on your laptop. 14. Please double check your contract, and consult someone if needed. The words used in the contract is very confusing. 15. Unfair treatment between staff. Some staff will receive their salary on 1st, and most will receive on 7th. Some will need to clock in, some don’t. Some can wfh some can’t. If you get on their good sides, you may or may not get the same benefit. 16. Once your probation has ended, and you’d like to resign, they will ask you to tender 2 months resignation notice. Keep in mind, if you didn’t sign the confirmation you only need 2 weeks notice (law of act).
